Hi, friends! I am so thrilled be on That Social Mom today sharing wear-again maternity outfit ideas. Now, many people are of the school of thought that maternity wear is supposed to be loose, comfortable and often shabby. I, however, completely disagree! Dressing for two is all about smart sizing and confidence. Here are three ways to rock that bump.
I call this the Kim Kardashian/Chrissy Teigen maternity look, perfect for the office or date night. The midi tank dress (size up!) shows off your bump while the trench provides just the right amount of coverage and style. Celebs typically pair this look with sky-high heels, but that seems painful and unnecessary. Here I’ve chosen a comfy pair of mules that you can wear again and again.
Knit Tank Dress: Forever 21
Satin Trench: H&M
Tote: Old Navy
This look is ideal for a romantic babymoon. Although the dress looks short and small here, reviews state that it’s quite roomy. The best part is that you can belt or alter it afterward for just about any occasion. I paired it with fun sandals and accessories, which you can mix and match to your heart’s content.
Purse: LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s
Nautical is always timeless, and I just love this combination for summer. The trick to wearing a midi skirt is to wear it over the bump, which means it’ll sit pretty high on your waist (You can probably take your usual size, but I would try one size up to be safe.). Luckily, the midi length accommodates for all that. Here I’ve paired it with a loose semi-cropped blouse and comfortable espadrilles. It’s definitely a go-to for summer BBQs, errands and whenever you want to look effortlessly chic.
Pleated Skirt: Uniqlo
Neck scarf: J Crew
Tote Bag: Macy’s
Earrings: Charming Charlie
See? It’s always possible to be stylish and comfortable. Which look is your favorite?
